About Me

My name is Laura Gagliano and I grew up in Missouri City Texas. I began taking piano lessons when I was eight years old and have played ever since. During highschool I taught piano lessons to children of different ages and was also a music teacher's assistant at a local elementary school. I majored in Music Education at Sam Houston State University and now have my Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary studies with a focus on music and education.
After college I pursued a career in Early Childhood Education. I have spent the last eight years in ECE as a teacher, assistant director and Director. I left the childcare world in January 2018 to focus on becoming a mother for the first time. I now live in Missouri City Texas with my husband, our two children and dog.
I believe that music has a huge impact on our lives and that learning to make music can be truly life changing. Playing the piano sharpens fine motor skills and improves eye-hand coordination. I am looking forward to getting to know you as we learn to create music together!

Let's get to know each other and set some goals. I will also choose your piano program specific to the students goals, age and skill set. We will find a lesson time that works with your schedule and go over pricing.
Piano Technique & Music Theory
Students will learn to read music and play the piano as well as music theory. All students will be using the most current piano curriculum along with warm up repertoire to really master the fine motor skills needed to master the piano.
